Newest consigner Vamptropolis shares a bit about herself and her amazing keychains.
I've been crafting my whole life but didn't seriously see it as a way to make extra money until 2007. That's when I started Vamptropolis, my late hubby helped come up with the name.... it's a combination of the email (and AOL screen name) I had, Vampkyttn and one of his favorite movies, Metropolis. I originally started making purses & wallets, then I got back into crocheting.
2013 my hubby was diagnosed with Leukemia & we spent a lot of time going back & forth to MD Anderson in Houston. He couldn't work, so my crocheting took on two roles, keeping me sane while we were there for hours & hours and helped bring in extra money while I was missing work.
June 2016, my hubby passed away at MD Anderson after being in the ICU for 32 days. Fast forward to Dec 2017, I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 days before my 45th birthday.
So again my weird creations are keeping me sane & helping with the mounting medical bills.
We are a consignment shop, we are taking 0 commission from her sales so every penny goes to help Christine and her family.
